Scar tissue, cutaneous lesions or benign growths can be effectively treated with the LightPod Era, by gently removing the scar or lesion while leaving the surrounding skin untouched. The affected area is ablated by removing a layer with each pulse until it is removed, generally in one to two treatments, leaving a uniform skin tone and texture. This treatment ranges from subablative treatment to a micropeel and aims to ablate the most superficial layer(s) of skin.
